Alan Moore

Painter, teacher of painting, Swinburne Tech. Coll. from c. 1963.

Studies: Melbourne N.G.V. School; Sydney (under J.S. Watkins). Moore served as an official war artist during World War II, and after the war spent some years in Europe.

Awards: Grace Joel prize, Melbourne. N.G.V. School, 1942; Ferntree Gully prize, 1946. REP: N.G.V., Melbourne; Shepparton Art Gallery.
